Going to the Lodge. . . Great Wolf Lodge

We have been planning a trip to the Great Wolf Lodge since last spring. We were orignally going to go in October during a break from school, but Kyle broke his arm so we called and changed the days for when we were going to go. After weeks and weeks of anticipation we headed down to Kansas City to go to the Great Wolf Lodge. The Great Wolf Lodge is a hotel with a water park inside of it. We arrived about 1 o'clock and checked into our room. As soon as we were in our room we changed and headed down to the water park where the boys played until dinner time. We had to go and change into proper dinner attire so we could go eat. We went and ate and as soon as we got back they wanted to go back down to the water park. So we changed back into suits and down we went until bedtime. The next morning we ate breakfast, checked out, and then went back to the water park until about 1 pm. The thrill on the boys faces was great. They were so tired by the time we left and got back home from all the fun they had while they were there. William has still not let us cut off his wrist band to get into the park. Here are a few, okay a lot, of pictures from our trip.

A picture of the water park

Bradley getting ready to head down yet another slide.

William, Joe and Matt going to play up in the house.

Kyle just getting out of a slide and floating in his tube.

One of William's favorite places to play.

Yeah I thinkKyle had fun!

Family Picture right before a huge bucket of water hit us.

Snowing in the lodge. Bradley getting snow all over him.

Final Great Wolf Lodge poise before we left our fun adventure.

What an awesome place! Glad you were able to have some fun family vacation time together. I love the photo of Kyle in the tube, it just looks so cool with the tube being so clear and the light in the water.

Looks like fun! Was the water warm? Tim says Joe should have taken his shirt off, he won't get a sunburn inside.

We had so much fun, and yes it was totally worth the money and the drive, but only 3 hours for us. The water was warm and the park was kept at 86 degrees. I felt very good.

Bradley looked like he was in heaven - water on his head, snow on his head, what more could he ask for? Slime on his head? Ha ha.
Did the boys sleep well that night? Oh my goodness that place looks like Mia's version of heaven, I kid you not.
I didn't know such a place existed. Your kids are lucky that they have such fun parents!

I've wanted to go there too! The closest one for us is in Richmond, VA but that's only about 3 hrs. Sounds like it's worth the drive. Thanks for the review! :) I love your pictures! Glad it was a fun time.
