We have a visitor at our house. It is a painted turtle. It is about the size of a quarter. Brad found this baby turtle while riding his bike around the pond. He brought it home and has been taking care of it for about a week. We have not decided how long our friend will stay with us, but he will eventually go back to the pond.

Reminds me of when we would ride bikes and walk around the pond by your house! Good Times!
We had a box turtle for quite a while that I found on Highland Ave. We'd feed it worms and things, they are a smelly pet. Watching Tadpoles turning in to frogs was another pet project we did.
You should have told us he wanted a turtle. I had 2 baby snapping turtles that he could have had when we left.
