Halloween

Bradley and Kyle the pirates, William the dinosaur, and Matthew our Little Pumpkin

William really wanted to hold Matthew

The boys and their candy

Kyle and his haul

The boys had a fun Halloween running from house to house getting candy. We started at Grandpa & Grandma Fredericks about 6pm. On the way home William fell asleep in the van and we couldn't wake him up. So Joe, Bradley, and Kyle took off to get some candy. After going up and down our street they came home to empty their buckets and get William. Then all four of them took off to do some more trick-or-treating. After awhile they came back to empty their buckets again, but that wasn't enough for Bradley and Kyle. Halloween only comes once a year and the weather was perfect. Bradley and Kyle headed out a third time. They got home around 8:30pm and as you can see Bradley and Kyle got a few pieces of candy.

A FEW pieces? Wow, they realy hit the jack-pot! The costumes are so cute...I never have seen a pirate with camo cast on. :) It looks like they had a great time!

Those boys are high on life! Look at those grins! And look at William checking it all out in the second photo . . . looks like he woke up, ha ha ha. That will be the Halloween to compare all others to. I think most of us (Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa at least) enjoyed the unseasonably warm weather and it made for the best Halloween ever. What a night!

They certainly take after their father. I remember trick or treating with Joe and Tim and what an Amazing Race experience that was! Running from door to door in the apartments down and across the street from their house. ALL the loot was there and so easily attainable! They would fill their pillow cases over and over and over again until they nearly couldn't carry the things. The apple doesn't fall very far from the tree.... :) Too funny!

Wow, that is an impressive load of candy! They're going to have to graduate to pillow cases to collect in next year! Cute costumes!

I love the Captain Jack hair on Kyle. And everything Patty said was so true. We always wanted to go trick-or-treating with our nephews because they knew THE houses to go to.
