Take 2 of falling off the bed.

Experiment : If Kyle sits in a storage bin on his bed and falls off will it result in a broken bone?

Hypothesis: A fall off the bed will result in a broken bone.

Testing Hypothesis: Kyle will sit in a storage bin on top of his bed. Bradley will also get on the bed a push. Storage bin will tumble over resulting in a fall onto the floor.

Results: A broken collarbone/clavicle, 3 weeks of rest and an arm sling to keep things demobilized. Broken bone also resulted in one sad little boy, and one boy feeling very guilty.

Wicked Anniversary

Joe surprised me with tickets to go see Wicked for our anniversary. My Dad was able to get a good price on tickets through work so Joe talked to him and got some tickets. We went down with my parents and had dinner and then went to the musical. The seats were spectacular. I had heard so many good things about it, and I can honestly say that it absolutely lived up to the hype. The music, the humor, the storyline, it all was fantastic. Joe and I both agree we will never be able to watch the Wizard of Oz again in the same way.

What's up with the 4th child

Look at my tooth
Matt testing out the kennel, I don't think he will do that again.

Matt hasn't made our blog lately so here is a little update on our baby who is now 10 1/2 months old. He can crawl like crazy and is walking along the furniture. He keeps busy crawling up the stairs. He will eat anything you put in front of him or off the floor, or out of the grass. . . you get the idea. He got his first tooth this week!

Word he can say now: Mama, Dada, woof woof, bye, Matt, Bradley

He has been very curious of a new four legged friend in the house and is always crawling upto Candy, or woof woof, and petting her or grabbing her hair. He doesn't like it when Candy, who is also curious of a four legged crawler, come to explore him.
Here are a few picture of our baby.

Kyle's Week

Kyle's week started out a bit rough when he slammed is finger in the car door, and to make it worse, the door was locked and so we had to unlock it before he could get it out. He had to go to the doctor and get a whole drilled in his fingernail so some of the pressure behind the nail could be released and the swelling and his finger could go down.

By the end of the week he was all smiles again! He had his preschool graduation and he was really excited. Here is the conversation that we had Thursday after picking him up for school.

Mom: Kyle how was school?

Kyle: Good

Mom: Tomorrow is preschool graduation are you excited?

Kyle: Yes! Our teacher told us we could wear our pretty dresses!

Mom: Boys don't wear dresses Kyle

Kyle: My teacher said we could wear whatever we want, and I want to wear a pretty dress.

Mom: You don't have a pretty dress because you are a boy, but you can wear your church pants, your white shirt, and a tie, would you like that?

Kyle: Yes! And my suit jacket!

Mom: Ok what do you want mom to wear?

Kyle: A pretty dress

Mom: Ok how about Dad?

Kyle (with a big smile): A pretty skirt (followed by giggling).

Prschool graduation itself was a very cute program of singing and dancing, a "diploma', and cookies afterward. Kyle favorite part was of course the cookies afterward.

Of course being the big baby I am, I got teary eyed during the last song as a I realized two are done with preschool now and how fast they are growing up.

Where will William fall asleep next

Since moving into our house we have found William asleep in a few strange places.

In the linen closet at the end of the hall. He even pulled off blankets off the shelf to make himself a little nest.

William asleep in front of the washer and dryer during nap time on to of a pile of clothes.

We have also found him asleep in the hallway and on the couch in the living room. He usually makes himself a little nest of blankets to curl up in.

Here are some more pictures of the house. I guess if you want to see more you will just have to come see us!

Finally A Girl

We have been thinking about getting a puppy for a while. Thursday I looked at our local Humane Society website and found a puppy that got our attention. We went down that evening with the boys to take a look. They know that the mother was a minature white poodle that weighed 12 lbs, the dad or should I say the dads of a the litter were unknown, but they could take a pretty good guess. There were four different fathers to the litter. This is where we found our new puppy Candy a female poodle mix. Friday Candy got spayed, and I went and picked her up Saturday morning. She is still getting settled, but there is no doubt that she is going to be getting a lot of love her owners. The collar the boys picked out was pink camoflage, which of course fits perfectly with the personalities fo the house. By the end of the day yesterday she was absolutely exhausted. So far she has been doing good doing her business outside and not in the house. Hopefully this will contine to be the case.

A funny little thing that she likes to do is fall asleep on someone shoulder

Updates and such

On the 24th of April we moved out of our old house and into our new house. So I packed like crazy to get us moved. Wouldn't you know about the 22nd of April slowly everyone started to get sick. I still packed like crazy, and thank goodness for my Mom and ladies from the ward who help by watching my kids, and my Mom by helping me also pack and clean. On the 23rd, the Millard Moving Team, aka the Millard Ward Elder's Quorum along with my Dad, came and helped us load our truck; twice, we had to go unload once in the garage of our new house because it wouldn't all fit in the truck. On the 24th we went and signed the papers for our new house and started moving in. Thank you to the Lakeview moving team, once again the Elders Quorum along with my cousin and uncle and brother in law Tim who came to help us move in. All the movers did excellent and nothing was broken, HURRAY!!

Since then we have dealt with illness and unpacking. I am happy to say we love our new house! I am not going to post our address because this is a public post, but if you email me I will send you our new address. We don't have any pictures to post yet, but hopefully buy the end of this week we will have some new pictures to put on here. Everyone is finally getting better and we our enjoying meeting our neighbors and discovering things about our house. Our boys love having their own rooms and building forts with the empty boxes in the basement.
